Connect LinkedIn Ads and PipeHalo checks every campaign in your ad accounts every morning. Each problem comes with what it’s costing you and the steps to fix it in Campaign Manager. Connect HubSpot or Salesforce too, and you see the pipeline LinkedIn actually sourced.
What PipeHalo reads, and what it changes
PipeHalo reads your LinkedIn ad accounts every day. With Apply turned on, it also makes the fixes you approve: lowering an over-pacing budget, pausing a campaign spending without results or rotating a tired ad out. Nothing changes until someone on your team approves it, every change stays within limits your admin sets, and you can undo it for 30 days. If you connected LinkedIn before Apply, reconnect it once to allow changes. Your team can still make any change in Campaign Manager itself.
| PipeHalo reads | PipeHalo never does |
|---|---|
| Ad accounts, campaign groups, campaigns and ads | Change anything until Apply is on and someone on your team approves the change |
| Budgets and spend | Change a budget past the limits your admin sets |
| Impressions, clicks, reach, leads and conversions | Change conversion settings or tracking |
| 13 months of history, synced daily | Sell your data, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models |
PipeHalo’s team can’t see your campaigns unless an admin creates a time-limited support code and sends it to us. How PipeHalo uses access to your accounts explains how that works.
What you get
The daily checks that matter on LinkedIn
Every campaign is judged against its own objective and its own history, so a brand awareness campaign is never flagged for having no leads. The checks that do the most work on LinkedIn:
- Pacing and budget: under-pacing, over-pacing, and budget concentrated in one campaign.
- Creative: frequency fatigue (high frequency with click-through down 20% or more), click-through rate dropping, and creative due for a refresh. They matter most on LinkedIn, where small audiences see the same ad often.
- Costs: cost per click or cost per thousand impressions spiking.
- Results: spend with no conversions, plus spend with no pipeline and low-quality leads once a CRM is connected.
- Tracking: conversion tracking that may be broken, plus broken or missing UTMs once a CRM is connected.
Money at stake, then the fix
The Action Center ranks every flag by severity and money at stake, worked out from your account’s own numbers. Each flag ends with “What to try” steps in Campaign Manager. A few examples:
- A campaign isn’t spending. Check the campaign’s status for a hold, then compare your bid with LinkedIn’s suggested bid. LinkedIn recommends starting with maximum delivery and warns that bids that are too low may miss your audience. Full walkthrough: why a LinkedIn campaign isn’t spending.
- The audience is too small. LinkedIn suggests keeping audiences over 50,000 for Sponsored Content and Text Ads, and over 15,000 for Message Ads. ABM lists run smaller by design, so PipeHalo flags the symptoms, such as under-pacing, not audience size.
- Clicks are steady but conversions fell away. In Campaign Manager, confirm a conversion is attached to the campaign and the Insight Tag is still firing. See fixing the LinkedIn Insight Tag.
Assign a flag to a teammate, set a reminder, snooze it or mark it done. PipeHalo keeps checking, and for most flags the actions log compares the 14 days before and after you mark it done.
Pipeline by channel, when a CRM is connected
LinkedIn reports leads. Your CRM knows which of them became opportunities. With HubSpot or Salesforce connected, the Pipeline page credits each new deal to the channel that sourced it and sets it next to spend: leads, MQLs, SQLs, opportunities, pipeline, closed-won, cost per opportunity and pipeline per $1.
Lead Gen Form leads don’t carry UTMs, because there’s no website visit. Sync those forms to your CRM so the leads can still be credited to LinkedIn.
How to connect LinkedIn Ads
Setup takes about 10 minutes.
- Sign in to PipeHalo with Google, Microsoft or a one-time code sent to your work email.
- Choose LinkedIn Ads and sign in to LinkedIn with an account that has access to your ad accounts.
- Approve read access when LinkedIn asks.
- Pick the ad accounts you want audited. They must all advertise for one company.
PipeHalo loads 13 months of history, and your first audit is usually ready within minutes. It covers the same ground as a LinkedIn Ads audit, run every morning.
Frequently asked questions
Does PipeHalo change my LinkedIn campaigns?
Only what you approve. Apply is off until an admin turns it on for LinkedIn Ads. Then each fix shows the exact change, before and after, and PipeHalo makes it once you approve it, within your limits. You can undo a change for 30 days, every change is listed in Change history with who approved it, and a week later PipeHalo checks whether it worked. If you connected LinkedIn before Apply, reconnect it once to allow changes.
How much history does PipeHalo use?
13 months, synced daily, so each campaign is compared with its own past.
Do I need to reconnect LinkedIn?
Once a year. LinkedIn requires the connection to be re-approved annually. The Connections page shows the date access ends, and a Reconnect button appears there 30 days before.
