PipeHalo vs Optmyzr: which one fits your team?

Updated

Pick Optmyzr if you want software that works inside your accounts: automations, scripts, bid and budget tools, and one-click changes, especially for search, Shopping and Amazon. Pick PipeHalo if you want every campaign checked each morning, each problem explained with the money at stake and the fix, the fix made for you once you approve it, and pipeline by channel from HubSpot or Salesforce.

They solve different problems. Optmyzr gives you tools to make many changes faster. PipeHalo tells you which changes matter most, makes the ones you approve and checks whether they worked. Some teams will be well served by either; a few will use both.

What each tool is for

Optmyzr

Optmyzr is a PPC management platform. It lists support for Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Amazon Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and TikTok Ads. Its toolkit includes a Rule Engine for custom automations, scripts that need no coding, budget monitoring and pacing alerts, account audits, reporting, and one-click optimizations that update ad text, feeds and settings without opening the ad platform. AI Sidekick answers questions about your accounts in plain language.

Optmyzr applies changes in your accounts, and it says there are “no changes without your approval, ever.” It’s built for agencies, freelancers, in-house teams and enterprise teams who want control and speed.

PipeHalo

PipeHalo is a daily paid media audit. Every morning it runs 15 checks on every campaign (3 of them need a connected CRM): pacing and budget, creative fatigue, cost spikes, spend with no results, wasted keywords and searches, and broken tracking or UTMs. Each problem shows up in the Action Center ranked by money at stake, with “What to try” steps for Campaign Manager, Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising.

With Apply, you approve a fix and PipeHalo makes the change in your ad account: pausing campaigns, ads or keywords that waste spend, lowering an over-pacing budget, blocking wasted searches or rotating a tired ad out. Nothing changes without your approval, every change stays within limits you set, and you can undo it for 30 days. Apply works in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Reddit Ads. Your team can still make any change itself, and your CRM is only ever read. Then PipeHalo keeps checking, and the actions log shows how each number moved after the fix. Think of it as a checkup every morning: you get the prescription, and you decide what to take.

With HubSpot or Salesforce connected, PipeHalo shows pipeline by channel next to spend. You can see the full list of daily checks and features.

Where Optmyzr is the better choice

Be clear-eyed about this. Optmyzr is the stronger pick when:

  1. You want automation you build yourself. Rule Engine automations, bid management and bulk edits go well beyond the fixes PipeHalo makes from its own flags.
  2. You run Shopping, Performance Max or Amazon campaigns. Optmyzr has dedicated tools for these. PipeHalo doesn’t cover Amazon and doesn’t manage feeds.
  3. You need Meta or TikTok today. Optmyzr lists both. PipeHalo’s Meta support is coming soon, and TikTok isn’t on its list.
  4. You’re a power user. If you like building your own scripts and rules, Optmyzr gives you far more room.
  5. You spend heavily on search. Optmyzr’s depth in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, from finding new keywords to updating ad text without opening the platform, is hard to match.

Where PipeHalo is the better choice

PipeHalo fits better when:

  1. Nobody has time to build automations. A marketing manager who runs paid media alongside other work gets a ranked list each morning instead of a toolkit to configure.
  2. You want a person to approve every change. Some security teams and agency clients won’t allow a tool to edit campaigns on its own. PipeHalo changes nothing until an admin turns on Apply, and then only what someone approves, within limits you set. More on how PipeHalo uses access to your accounts.
  3. Leadership asks about pipeline. PipeHalo credits each new deal to the channel that sourced it and puts cost per opportunity next to spend.
  4. LinkedIn or Reddit matter to you. Both are first-class in PipeHalo’s daily checks, alongside Google and Microsoft.
  5. You want proof the fix worked. For most flags you mark done, the actions log compares the flag’s own number over the 14 days before and after.
  6. Your spend is small. Core is $119/month up to $25K/month in ad spend, with every ad platform and CRM pipeline included.

Pricing at different spend levels

Both tools price by ad spend, so the right comparison depends on yours. The figures below use only prices we could confirm in Oct 2026.

Monthly ad spend Optmyzr PipeHalo
Under $1K Essentials from $299/month (Capterra) Core, $119/month
$5K Essentials from $299/month Core, $119/month
$50K Essentials; price set by your spend tier on Optmyzr’s pricing page Growth, $189/month
$100K Essentials (covers up to $150K); price set by your spend tier Enterprise, $249/month
$300K Premium (covers up to $500K), from $389/month on Capterra; price set by your spend tier Enterprise, $249/month

A few notes so the table isn’t misleading:

  • Optmyzr’s tier prices. Optmyzr shows prices on its own page after you choose a spend level. Capterra lists the starting prices. We couldn’t confirm the exact price for every spend tier, so check Optmyzr’s slider for your number.
  • Optmyzr overages. Its billing FAQ says spend above your tier is billed per extra $1,000. For example, the 25K tier charges $3.50 per $1K up to $100K in spend. New customers get overages waived in their first month.
  • Optmyzr accounts. Essentials covers up to 25 ad accounts, with extra accounts at $5 each per month. Premium has unlimited accounts with fair use.
  • PipeHalo plans. Core covers up to $25K/month with 5 seats, Growth up to $75K/month with 10, and Enterprise covers more, with 15. Every plan includes unlimited ad accounts for one company, HubSpot or Salesforce pipeline and Pip. Yearly billing is 15% off: $101, $161 or $212 a month, billed yearly.
  • At high spend, run both numbers. Optmyzr’s price moves with your spend tier, while PipeHalo Enterprise is $249/month above $75K. Optmyzr also brings automation and Shopping tools that PipeHalo doesn’t offer, so compare what you’d use, not just the price.

Agencies pricing per client should see PipeHalo for agencies: from $99 per client per month for 1 to 5 clients, dropping with volume, with a 5-client minimum.

How to choose

Ask three questions:

  1. Do you want a toolkit or a daily diagnosis? If you want to build automations and work in bulk, Optmyzr. If you want the day’s problems ranked, explained and fixed with one approval, PipeHalo.
  2. Which platforms carry your budget? Amazon, Shopping, Meta or TikTok point to Optmyzr today. LinkedIn, Reddit and B2B search with a CRM point to PipeHalo.
  3. What does your boss ask for? If it’s ROAS and account hygiene, Optmyzr covers it well. If it’s pipeline by channel, PipeHalo was built for that.

Both offer a way to try before paying: Optmyzr’s 14-day trial, and PipeHalo’s Ad Check and live demo, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee on monthly plans. Weighing other options too? See the full list of Optmyzr alternatives.

Frequently asked questions

Is PipeHalo a replacement for Optmyzr?

For some teams, yes; for others, no. If you use Optmyzr mainly to spot problems and report to leadership, PipeHalo can replace it. If you rely on its automations, scripts or Shopping tools, PipeHalo won’t, because it makes only the fixes you approve from its own flags.

Does Optmyzr support LinkedIn and Meta ads?

Yes. Optmyzr lists Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Amazon Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and TikTok Ads.

Can I use PipeHalo and Optmyzr together?

Yes. Some teams use Optmyzr to execute and PipeHalo to watch every channel and report pipeline. If you turn on Apply too, check each change in PipeHalo before you approve it so the two tools don’t undo each other’s work.

Is Optmyzr or PipeHalo cheaper?

At low spend, PipeHalo usually costs less: Core is $119/month up to $25K and Growth is $189/month up to $75K, against Optmyzr Essentials from $299/month on Capterra. At higher spend, Optmyzr’s price depends on your spend tier and PipeHalo Enterprise is $249/month, so check Optmyzr’s price for your exact spend before comparing.

Does PipeHalo change my campaigns?

Only when you approve it. Apply is off until an admin turns it on for a platform. Then you review each change before PipeHalo makes it, every change stays within your limits, and you can undo it for 30 days. PipeHalo never changes anything in your CRM.
