Why I built PipeHalo

Marketing teams already have the data. What they don't have is the time to check it every day. That's the job PipeHalo does.

For most of my career I’ve been the person who had to answer one question every quarter: what did paid media actually do for pipeline?

The data to answer it was always there. LinkedIn knew what we spent. Google knew what we spent. Salesforce knew which deals came in. But getting from those three places to a straight answer took days of exports, spreadsheets and debates about which channel deserved the credit. And by the time the answer was ready, the quarter was over.

The problem isn’t the data. It’s the time.

Every marketing team I’ve worked with had the same blind spot. Not a lack of tools, but a lack of hours. Nobody had time to look at every campaign, every day. So problems surfaced late:

  • A campaign quietly under-delivered for three weeks before anyone noticed.
  • An ad wore out, and the click-through rate slid while the budget kept spending.
  • A tracking tag broke, and a month of conversions simply disappeared from the reports.

None of these are hard to fix. They’re hard to catch, because catching them means someone checking every campaign, every morning, against what good looks like on each platform. Big teams hire for that. Most teams can’t.

What PipeHalo does

PipeHalo is that daily check. Every morning it looks at every campaign in your connected ad accounts and runs the same 13 checks an experienced paid media manager would: pacing, fatigue, cost spikes, broken tracking, spend that isn’t turning into pipeline. When something’s off, it tells you three things:

  1. What’s wrong, in plain English.
  2. What it’s costing you, worked out from your own numbers.
  3. What to do about it, with the steps in the platform you’ll fix it in.

Then it keeps checking, so you can see whether the fix worked.

Connect your CRM and it does one more thing: it credits each new deal to the channel that sourced it and lines it up against spend. So the question I used to spend days answering, what did paid media do for pipeline, has an answer on Monday morning.

Who it’s for

I built PipeHalo for the team I was on: busy people running several channels, measured on pipeline, without a paid media analyst to lean on. A one-person marketing team should be able to run like it has an expert on staff. A bigger team should be able to stop arguing about attribution and start moving budget to what works.

It’s read-only, so it never changes anything in your accounts. And it takes about ten minutes to set up.

If that sounds like your week, try the live demo. I’d love to hear what you think.
